Day 01 - Introduction

In this video, we'll dive into an in-depth security training session. You'll get insights on various security modules, devices, and multi-vendor products like ASA, FTD, Palo Alto, and more.


  • Course Content:
    • Focus on various security devices and modules such as ASA, FTD, FMC, NGIPS, VPN, ICE, WSA, ESA, Stealth Watch, and more.
    • Multi-vendor products like Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and FortiGate will also be covered.
    • Course duration and modules vary; for example, ASA takes about one month, ICE takes one month, WSA takes three weeks, etc.
    • Overall, the entire security track may take up to six months to complete.


  • Certifications:
    • The security track is divided into specialist (CCNP) and expert (CCIE) levels.
    • Core exams (SCORE) and elective exams are required for CCNP.
    • For CCI, passing the core exam and then the lab exam is necessary.
    • Certification validity is three years, and any Cisco exam can be taken to renew it.


  • Career Advice:
    • As a fresher, pursuing CCI is valuable but depends on budget and dedication as it requires significant practice.
    • Certification can increase job prospects and salary.
    • Age of certification and hands-on experience are important for career growth.
